The company has been using the Socialshaker platform for several years to launch contests. In the run-up to the festive season, Albin Michel decided to launch a quiz campaign to anticipate the spread of Christmas<\/strong> magic in the minds of its customers and prospects. <\/p>\n

The launch of an Advent calendar before Advent was an opportunity for Albin Michel to present its selection of Christmas books<\/strong> to its community, while at the same time letting its customer know about the quality and diversity of its catalog and its new releases in French literature with a view to future Christmas purchases<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The choice of the Instant Win Calendar game was an obvious one for the project, as its mechanics enabled players to discover a book each day and then try to win it by scratching the day’s square.<\/p>\n

Albin Michel wanted to distribute its competition via a microsite<\/strong> format, in order to offer players an optimal user experience. The microsite was distributed regularly on the company’s Facebook page, in a special Christmas Newsletter and on the website via a slider image. <\/p>\n

A sponsorship campaign was also launched on Facebook to reach a public interested in the game. For the company, the campaign proved to be an appropriate and well-received proposition. <\/p>\n

This campaign was also an opportunity to offer game participants the chance to subscribe to Albin Michel newsletters. According to the company, the opt-in rate is a sign of a successful emailing policy. Softgate also proved effective in increasing Albin Michel’s Facebook community. <\/p>\n
